A few more shots (by liz)

Kris - great shots! I just wanted to follow up with similar thank you's. What Kristie failed to mention is that we completely rearranged all of the furniture in poor Lisa's loft and promised not to tell anyone about what we found under the couch. :) And Nicole, dude you are a trooper. There is no way I would let someone like me talk me into taking all of my clothes off while carrying around two itsy bitsy human beings in my belly. So thank you for being so open-minded for us! Nicole - I will have many more for you at the shower in a week or so. Enough with the chatter...bring on the photos!

A belly of twins (by kristie)

How adorable is this belly of twins? Very adorable! I can only hope I look this cute when pregnant. I tagged along with Liz to photograph her good friends Nicole and Brad, who are expecting both a boy and a girl very soon. Congrats to you! (and p.s. a big thank you to Lisa for letting us take over her loft. That window light was very fun to play with) Hope you enjoy the photos ...

The 6 hour adventure (by liz)

Last weekend Kristie and I set off on an excursion through the untouched wilderness surrounding the St. Louis area. Why you may ask? We were looking for some unearthed locations to throw a few brides in the water. Well, not actual brides on their wedding day (we're not that mean!) but brides that are getting back together with us to "trash the dress." So being the creative people we are, we really wanted to find somewhere different that people hadn't seen before. But as it turns out after driving through the Ozark hills, trespassing on private property, using our map quest direction printout like a machete to cut through cobwebs and spending both lunch and dinner in the car, we figured out that St. Louis City has the best stuff to offer. We just couldn't find anywhere that beat the things we love and see everyday. So tomorrow we embark on our first trash the dress day with 4 different brides. Check back in a couple of weeks for the results! (It's supposed to be a low of 53 degrees tomorrow and we're shooting when the sun is barely in the sky...we'll try not to zoom in so close you can see the goosebumps on our water-logged subjects.)

Buddy Walk 2007 (by kristie)

I had the pleasure of donating my photography services Labor Day weekend for the Buddy Walk with Down Syndrome Association of Greater Saint Louis. Saturday's event was a walk through Forest Park, photographed by our friend Joanna Kleine. And Sunday's event was a Cardinals pep rally and a walk into the Cards stadium. The Buddy Walk groups looped the field for about an hour, met some players, threw some balls, then enjoyed the game. It was a great day and a lot of fun. Here are a few photos ...
