The 6 hour adventure (by liz)

Last weekend Kristie and I set off on an excursion through the untouched wilderness surrounding the St. Louis area. Why you may ask? We were looking for some unearthed locations to throw a few brides in the water. Well, not actual brides on their wedding day (we're not that mean!) but brides that are getting back together with us to "trash the dress." So being the creative people we are, we really wanted to find somewhere different that people hadn't seen before. But as it turns out after driving through the Ozark hills, trespassing on private property, using our map quest direction printout like a machete to cut through cobwebs and spending both lunch and dinner in the car, we figured out that St. Louis City has the best stuff to offer. We just couldn't find anywhere that beat the things we love and see everyday. So tomorrow we embark on our first trash the dress day with 4 different brides. Check back in a couple of weeks for the results! (It's supposed to be a low of 53 degrees tomorrow and we're shooting when the sun is barely in the sky...we'll try not to zoom in so close you can see the goosebumps on our water-logged subjects.)
