Trash The Dress (by kristie)

So I've gotten a lot of questions about what "Trash The Dress" means... It has nothing to do with divorce, nothing to do with standing in a circle and burning your dress and nothing to do with throwing your dress away.
What it is however, is a crazy, fun photo shoot you do AFTER you get married. If you realize that your dress will hang in a closet forever unnoticed and, honestly, will not get worn by a future daughter... well, then you might as well put it on one more time and get some great photos that you would have never done on your wedding day!
Liz and I convinced these fabulous, former brides to give it a shot. (They were such great troopers, as we somehow picked what felt like the coldest day this year since February. We about froze them to death, but you'd never tell by the photos. They are America's Next Top Models to me!) You girls ROCK. Thank you so much for doing this shoot with us!

Here are my favorites from the day...

Morning Session (Sarah & Sarah)

Early Evening Session (Amy & Lisa)

Lisa and Amy jammed in Liz's back seat as we are trying to find water to put them in and missing our perfect sunset light... since Keiner Plaza fountain was not turned on as planned...

So it became pitch black by the time we went back to the same pond/waterfall we used in the morning. It was dark, and yes there were bats, but how cool are these photos. My two favorites!

Thanks again girls!
